UFC 69 Fighter Salaries Withheld by TSAC

MMAHQ has been on a campaign to get the fighter salaries for UFC 69 for awhile now. The inquiry went all the way up to the Texas State Attorney general and the ruling is finally in.

As you are aware, the Department requested a ruling from the Texas Attorney General as to whether the purse information contained on the Promoter-Contestant Contract (Contract) is confidential. On June 21, 2007 the Attorney General issued a ruling indicating that the Contract is protected by common-law privacy and must be withheld. A copy of the ruling is attached.
Why all the other State Athletic Commissions make the salaries public but not the Texas Commission is befuddling.
