Nick "The Goat" Thompson Speaks up about Sean Sherk

Nick “The Goat” Thompson is a close training partner and friend of Sean Sherk. So naturally the public has been curious what he has to say about the recent positive steroid test by his friend. He finally speaks up on Inside Fighting and give his thoughts.

Let me first start by saying that Sean and I are close. He is my number one training partner and we spend as much time together as others do with their families. So my piece is clearly not an unbiased report. But let me also tell you why I spend so much time with Sean and why I am biased.

Sean is the, not one of, but actually the hardest working person I have ever met. Fans and even other fighters have accused Sean of using steroids because of the way he looks. Come to the gym, see him workout.

Sean pays the price to look the way he does. And for those fighters who think that train as hard as Sean and they don’t look like that so Sean must be using stop yourself right there, you don’t train as hard as Sean. Period. Sean looks the way he looks and has gotten to where he is because he out trains everyone.

Not only is Sean a hard worker, he is a good person. I have never seen Sean lie not even white lies. Sean’s word is gold. If he tells you he is going to do something, its money in the bank.
