Email Article Print ArticleThe welterweight competitor suffered an injury during training and has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Jonathan Goulet.
According to MMA Scoops Mike “Quick” Swick injured his ribs during his latest training session and has had to cancel his match at Ultimate Fight Night 11 where he was scheduled to fight Jonathan Goulet.
As of right now Dustin Hazelett (13-4) will likely replace Swick and take on Goulet, who’s camp seems to be “receptive” to the idea of fighting Hazelett.

Man that sucks. I was looking forward to seeing Swick in action now that he’s dropped down to the welterweight division. I love his entrance too, nothing gets you ready for a fight like a little Tupac as you walk to the octagon.
A part of being great is durability… hopefully that will improve with Quick Swick.
