by: DarthMolen 1 year, 1 month, 2 weeks, 6 days, 6 hours, 17 minutes ago 0
Email Article Print ArticleThis week we try an experiment and tried the whole show live!!! Yes, we were Live on the Internet on Monday to give our hardcore fans a preview of this weeks episode. It came off surprisingly well.
We also have one of the wildest interviews that MMA Smackdown has ever done, starring Ben Rothwell of the IFL Silverbacks, where he bares all and brings the smackdown on Mike C., his teammate. You have to hear it to believe it.
Thanks again to Fight Opinion for continuing to pump our great product.

News
UFC welcomes Vanderlei Silva to the fold
-
Inexplicable double talk from Dana
-
He just finished bashing Wanderlei for not taking a September fight with Chuck
-
-
Return slated for December
-
Wanderlei just moved here to the States from Brazil
-
Last loss came against Dan Henderson (who is about to fight Quinton "Rampage" Jackson)
-
“This guy is a real fighter,” said White. “He reminds me of Chuck Liddell, and he’s the kind of fighter that all fight fans love to see fight. He’s a gunslinger. He will get in harm’s way to inflict damage and pain. This guy comes out like a speeding train and never stops. He goes for the finish, he likes to knock people out, and I just think he’s going to bring so much excitement to the UFC, I feel like I’m going to jump out of my skin.”
-
Could Dana White use any more hyperbolic analogies?
-
That quote after going to Yahoo! sports and almost accusing Silva of ducking Liddell (not outright accusation, he said, she said stuff)
Global Fighting Championship event cancelled
-
Not enough fighters clearing medical waivers
- Jeff Monson, Mark Kerr, Edwin Dewees, others all failed medicals
- Was scheduled for Mohegan Sun, Friday, August 17th.
-
seems fishy that a whole card can't pass medicals.

"The Conquerer" Denis Kang possible to fight Sakuraba next month
- Denis Kang: http://youtube.com/watch?v=sdZq5EfYLRw
-
If confirmed, he'll be the fourth Pride fighter signed to another
company.
- It will be at the HEROES GP Semifinals
-
Does K-1 really want to put Kang with Saku?
- Saku's pretty much beat up
-

Joe Lauzon to fight Karo Parisyan?
-
Joe is all over the place: emails, website, forums
-
Different weight classes make this a head scratcher. (155 vs. 170)
-
his message ended with the cryptic:
All I can say to Karo is: “That Judo sh*t ain’t gonna work on me!” I have been doing some research, and apparently Karo learned quite a bit of his Judo and striking from Reggie Warren Jr. I have contacted Reggie, and he has agreed to help me train for Karo as well…. Another exciting aspect of the fight, is that the UFC has secured the Easter Bunny as a special guest referee, and the Kool Aid Man will be working my corner between rounds to keep me hydrated. -
Karo also trained with Gene LeBell, A Redbelt in Judo.
-
Last three people who talked bad about Judo, ended up flying
"Shogun" Rua to fight Forrest Griffin Sept. 22nd
