I’m on a roll right now so next up is the new design for Darth Molen, sketched and finished colors. I think what I’m actually going to do initially is do the Komikazee team as their normal everyday versions first, and then build the superhero shots ontop of that. So the first group shot will be us wearing normal clothes just to give you guys an idea of what’s to come, and then I’ll run down the teams list.

It’s just the way the jpg compression is handling it.  PNG is best suited for line art like this but the forum uses jpg.  You could save as a png, upload and then just use the img tag.

THESE LOOK GREAT by the way.  Awesome job.  I didn’t think mine resembled me too much until I saw Molen’s and then looked back at mine.  It’s dead on!

Cool, glad you guys like them. So far these have been pretty easy to do so hopefully I’ll have everyone’s headshot done soon and then I can move onto full body shots this week.

Some new updates to the Komikazee group shot…

The first is an “evolution” of how my headshot was created.

The second is an “evolution” of the full body shot I did of myself.

These full body shots will be used as templates to create all the various characters I’ll be doing over the next few weeks.

Think Jackie Chan cartoon. I’m a big fan of that cartoon so I love the style that he took with these pictures.

Thanks Rombado! yeah maybe someday I’ll be able to do it, but as it is now I’m pretty swamped with things so only the admins will get one for now. Hopefully as we grow and expand I’ll be able to free up some time to do some more of these, but right now there is just no time. Maybe in the future we can trade “goods”...some artwork for a custom figure.

Hey Joe, no worries buddy, I completely understand. I know how much time Art can take up, and it sounds like your swamped right now as it is. Here’s a few other group ideas I thought of, for Marvel, Avengers, Inhumans, Defenders, or for DC, JSA, Titans, Outsiders. Regardless of who you do, I can’t wait to see more of your amazing work.
