As they move closer to Fireworks in the Cage III, scheduled for September 21, 2007 at the Orleans casino in Las Vegas, they are releasing the TV Schedule for their recent Fireworks in the Cage II mixed martial arts promotion held on September 1, 2007 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The promotion featured two IFO world title fights. The September 1st event will be shown as two separate ninety-minute television shows on HDNet (http://www.hd.net), the high definition network co-owned by Mark Cuban. The entire Fireworks in the Cage II HDNet television schedule is available at http://www.hd.net/fightnight.html. Steele Cage President Richard Steele stated, “Having Mark Cuban and HDNet televising our events has been one of the most important ingediants in the early success of Steele Cage Promotions and the IFO. Being one of only a few MMA organizations with national television exposure has been a key for us.”
The first half of the event will premiere on HDNet Friday, September 7th at 10:00pm EST and will be replayed Saturday, September 7th at 1:30am EST and again at 5:00am EST. This portion of the fight card will include the Travis Wiuff vs. Sean Salmon fight for the IFO Light Heavyweight Championship.
The second half of the event will premiere on HDNet Friday, September 14th at 10:00pm EST and will be replayed Friday, July 21st at 1:30am EST and again at 5:00am EST. This portion of the fight card will include the Zac George vs. Chris Mickle fight for the IFO Lightweight Championship.
