Staph Infection Strikes Miletich Camp

by: DarthMolen

Staph, the highly infectious and necrotic disease, has struck at the Miletich Elite camp and put three of their premiere fighters out of commission.

Drew McFedries is currently in the hospital where they had to remove a chunk of his leg to stop the spread. Tim Silvia is currently banned from the gym due to his infection that he contracted. Most importantly, Spencer Fisher has stopped training due to his infection that has caused his knee to swell enormously.

The outstanding striker and UFC lightweight contender has bowed out of his Sept. 19th fight against Din Thomas due to his inability to train.

“It’s disappointing,” Fisher said. “I think I match up well with Din. I could have taken the fight and put myself in position to get a title fight.”

Staph is highly infectious and extremely necrotic (meaning it eats away at your body). 1/3 of the population are carriers of the disease but aren’t necessarily infected. Gyms and hospitals tend to be places where this disease is contracted. Gyms because of the plentitude of body contact and sweating.
