Sokoudjou Not Fighting for EliteXC

EliteXC had announced as early as June 22nd that Sokoudjou would be fighting for their organization. Apparently the stellar light heavyweight from Team Quest, who burst on the scene with a KO of Little Nog and Ricardo Arona, had a change of heart. 

“We gave him a very good offer. We flew him in at the last moment to our June 22 pay-per-view fight in San Jose. He was there as our guest. He ate very well. We filled him with beverages and then supposedly when he went back, someone threw an astronomical offer at him that I was not willing to match,” stated Shaw.

Nobody but Thierry’s camp knows the other suitor but Komikazee MMA will definitely update you when we find out.
