WEC May 12 Fight Card Update

Razor Rob pulls out of fight due to an injury. Full fight card announced.

Today, WEC announced their full card lineup for the May 12th event, at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Prior to today, the main event on the card was to be an awesome match-up between WEC Lightweight Champion “Razor” Rob McCullough making his first title defense against UFC veteran Rich “Cleat” Crunkilton. But do to unfortunate circumstances, McCullough had to pull out due to a knee injury. Crunkilton will now face another UFC veteran, Jamie Varner, in what is believed to be a number one contender’s match.


The New Main event for the card will be WEC Light Heavyweight Champion Doug “The Rhino” Marshall against XFO Light Heavyweight Champion Justin McElfresh.


And if this card wasn’t already shaping up to be a great one, it has been announced that UFC veteran Jason “Mayhem” Miller will take on Armory fighter Hiromitsu Miura.
